MAINE HARM REDUCTION CONFERENCE
The annual Maine Harm Reduction Conference offers an opportunity for folks across the state at all levels of engagement and knowledge about harm reduction philosophies to get engaged. Workshops and other sessions offered give attendees more in-depth knowledge around how harm reduction looks in action as well as how they can be involved.

The fourth annual conference provided workshops and sessions that focused on our capacities around:
Enhancing understanding of the connection between social structure, stigma, drug use and recovery
Providing practical knowledge, skills, attitudes and tools around the provision of health care services for people who use drugs
Enhancing understanding of new and controversial harm reduction strategies
Providing practical and theoretical knowledge concerning the role of law enforcement and civil servants in harm reduction
