LEAD PROGRAM

Inspired by Seattle’s successful Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program (LEAD) and funded through a grant from the Open Society Foundation, HEAL is pleased to offer the LEAD Program, which provides an infrastructure of support and client-centered case management to people who would otherwise be convicted of drug offenses and channeled into the criminal justice system.

Our case managers can help connect individuals to the following support services:

  • Housing

  • Food

  • Transportation

  • Employment

  • Education and Training Services

  • Mental Health and Substance Use Treatment

  • Recovery Support

  • Community Engagement

For questions about LEAD or to see if you qualify, email LEAD Case Manager Ashley Brown at ashley@mainehealthequity.org.
